Children's Ministry
As a part of Dublin Christian Church's ministry to families, we offer a number of activities to enhance the lives of children by teaching God's Word and offering opportunities to develop friendships with other young people.
But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
We offer the following weekly classes for children ages 2 years - 6th grade
Sundays
10:00 a.m. Sunday School Classes for all ages
11:00 a.m. Wee Worship for those ages 2 years - 2nd grade
11:00 a.m. Children's Church for those in grades 3 - 5
6:00 p.m. Children's Group Meetings for those ages 2 years - 5th grade
Wednesdays
7:00 p.m. Children's Classes for those ages 2 years - 5th grade
Throughout the year we also offer additional opportunities for children to grow more in their spiritual lives and in friendship with one another. These activities include our annual Vacation Bible School, Easter Egg Hunt and Trunk or Treat. We also offer monthly activities which may include Bowling, Swimming at the local pool at Randolph Park or at Claytor Lake, Movies, a visit to the local Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Parties.
Each year during the Christmas season, our children rehearse and present the annual Christmas Play. Also during this season we offer "Parent's Night Out" which is a night set aside for parents to bring their children to the church building for activities while they go shopping, out to dinner, etc.
